A video sent to the StatusHD service is deleted from that computer as soon as the optimised copy has been delivered back to you. One that could not be delivered is deleted automatically after 48 hours. Neither needs a request.
| What | Where it is | How long |
|---|---|---|
| The video you sent, and the optimised copy made from it | The service computer | Deleted on delivery; after 48 hours if delivery failed |
| The WhatsApp message identifier of each video handled | The service computer | Kept, so the same video is never answered twice, capped at the most recent 50,000. It is an identifier, not the video, and cannot be turned back into one |
| The name your conversation appears under, and a count of videos returned to it | The service computer | Only if free-use limits are switched on. Kept until you ask for it to go |
| The name your conversation appears under, and how many videos it sent today (the daily limit of 10) | The service computer | Today only. Each day replaces the one before |
| Your phone number on the whitelist, a name the owner gives it, and your plan (free trial or 30-day subscription) with start and end dates | The service computer | Until the owner removes it |
| Your phone number, if you have had a free trial | The service computer | Kept after you are removed from the whitelist, so a trial is given only once; removed on request |
| The phone number of your conversation, read from WhatsApp's contact-info panel | The service computer | Until the owner deletes it; removed on request |
| The first link or ad code you arrived with (such as G1), with your conversation name, phone number and when | The service computer | Until the owner deletes it; removed on request |
| If your video was ignored because you were not on the whitelist: the conversation name, how many were ignored, when, and the last file name | The service computer | The most recent 500 people; removed on request |
| The conversation name, file name and time of recent deliveries | The service computer | The most recent 50 deliveries |
| The service's log, which names conversations and files as they are handled | The service computer | Not deleted automatically |
| A nightly copy of the whitelist, plans, phone numbers, ignored-senders list and handled message identifiers | The service computer | 14 days, then deleted automatically |
| The copy the app staged before handing it to WhatsApp | Only on your own phone, in the app's private cache | Replaced the next time you send something; gone when you uninstall |
| The messages themselves | Your WhatsApp conversation, and Meta's servers | Until you delete them in WhatsApp |
Send a WhatsApp message saying “Please delete my StatusHD data” to the StatusHD number, from the WhatsApp number you sent your videos from — that is how the conversation is found. There is no account and no other identifier to quote.
The video and the reply are both messages in your WhatsApp conversation, so copies exist there and on Meta's servers. Deleting those is done inside WhatsApp, by deleting the messages. It is not something this request can do for you.
Uninstalling removes everything StatusHD keeps on your phone, which is only the staged copy of the last video you sent. It has no effect on anything already sent through WhatsApp — use the WhatsApp request above, and WhatsApp itself, for that.
